Wi-Fi option (WU-1a)


Together with the D3200, Nikon announces Wi-Fi transmitter for optional camera. The WU-1a clips into the USB port on the D3200 and allows you to transfer images to smartphones and tablets running an application from Nikon. The device allows cameras live view output with the smart device can send and images can be remotely detected (at a distance of up to 49 feet, but no control over camera settings).
First, an application for Android phones and tablets, with a version of iOS is expected in the fall / autumn 2012.
